Its platform is powered by scalable backend services that ingest, model, and serve industrial data at scale.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design, scale, and continuously improve the KogniTwin platform. In this role, you will take technical ownership of distributed backend systems, APIs, and data-intensive services, and play a key part in defining backend standards and engineering best practices across teams.

What You’ll Do

- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.

- Own backend features from design to release and observability.

- Drive architecture, reliability, scalability, and performance.

- Work closely with Product, Frontend, Data/Platform, and DevOps teams.

- Mentor peers and improve backend engineering practices.

What You’ll Bring (Must-Have)

- 6+ years of experience building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript. (MEAN Stack)

- Strong hands-on experience with backend frameworks and API development.

- Strong experience in OOP, system design, and service-oriented architecture.

- Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, databases, caching, messaging, and cloud-native architecture.

- Hands-on experience with testing, debugging, observability, and CI/CD for backend services.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch.

Nice to Have

- Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, or distributed systems.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS.

- Experience with security, auth, and resilient production-grade services.

- Experience with data platforms, analytics systems, or GenAI/LLM backend capabilities.
