Your Role
The Delivery Client Engagement team spearheads the execution of our products and services, ensuring alignment with service agreements and contractual obligations. We oversee the demand pipeline and allocate service and delivery resources, holding full accountability for the profitability and successful execution of our deliveries from start to finish. Our team is now seeking candidates for a Project Manager position.
This role requires a strong combination of project delivery leadership, industrial domain expertise, customer engagement, commercial acumen, and technology awareness to drive successful digital transformation initiatives across heavy industries.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Project & Process Excellence
Fulfil contractual obligations towards customers and subcontractors.
Establish and maintain overall plans for activities related to project design, implementation, testing, integration, and delivery.
Ensure timely execution and progress of all project activities, including effective allocation of project resources.
Oversee project delivery and quality assurance to ensure high standards of execution.
Proactively engage with existing customers to identify upsell opportunities, increase revenue, and build long-term business relationships.
Identify potential project risks, assess impact, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement mitigation plans.
Coordinate internal meetings to address ongoing issues, prioritize actions, and optimize project portfolio delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, project governance, and operational processes.
Industrial Digitalization, AI & Transformation
Lead customer projects focused on industrial digitalization, AI-enabled operational excellence, and business transformation initiatives.
Apply strong understanding of heavy industrial asset management processes, including maintenance, reliability, operations, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with customers to align digital and AI-driven solutions with operational and business objectives across industrial environments.
Support customers in their digital transformation journeys, including process optimization, data utilization, AI adoption, and technology enablement.
Identify opportunities where AI, analytics, and automation can improve operational efficiency, asset performance, and decision-making.
IT, Data & Architecture
Understand customer IT landscapes, enterprise architecture, system integrations, and industrial data flows.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure solution architecture aligns with customer operational and business requirements.
Support integration of digital platforms, enterprise systems, industrial data sources, and AI-enabled solutions.
Facilitate discussions with customers on data readiness, governance, and foundational requirements for analytics and AI initiatives.
Project Financial Reporting
Own project financial performance and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within the mandate given by the Project Owner.
Collaborate with Project Controllers to estimate cost of goods sold and maintain project profitability.
Forecast project duration, resource requirements, and financial performance through strong cost control and planning discipline.
Sales & Commercial Support
Support Growth and Customer Success teams with cost estimates, proposals, and customer demonstrations.
Bring strong commercial awareness to balance customer value, project delivery, and business profitability.
Support Marketing in gathering customer success stories, references, and project wins.
Assist in planning User Group meetings and other company events.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other relevant fields.
8+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in project/program delivery, customer engagement, or consulting roles.
Strong industrial background from heavy industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, or energy.
Deep understanding of heavy industrial asset management processes, including maintenance, operations, reliability, and asset lifecycle management.
Proven experience delivering complex software, digital, or transformation projects in industrial environments.
Experience in industrial digitalization and transformation, including digital platforms, analytics, connected assets, or operational improvement initiatives.
Good understanding of AI, analytics, and data-driven technologies, including how AI can be applied in industrial operations, asset management, and business optimization.
Ability to engage customers in discussions around AI opportunities, data maturity, and digital innovation strategies.
Strong understanding of IT architecture, enterprise systems, integrations, and industrial data ecosystems.
Excellent customer-facing experience, ideally working directly with customers in heavy industry environments.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; experience with agile tools and practices is preferred.
Strong leadership capabilities to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
