Your Role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Houston team and manage our cloud infrastructure, primarily utilizing Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will bring an automation-first mindset, with experience in DevOps practices such as GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless infrastructure operations for our innovative digital twin solutions, including Kognitwin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure, with a focus on automation and scalability.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, contributing to continuous integration and deployment processes using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Utilize Docker and Helm for containerization and orchestration to support scalable and resilient infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure meets the needs of various projects and stakeholders.
• Apply GitOps principles to streamline version control and automation processes.
• Write and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Python, and Bash to automate tasks and manage systems.
• Ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud infrastructure, continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
• Provide flexible support for a product that operates 24/7 for global customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization technologies like Docker and Helm.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning and adapting.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing technical stakeholders.
