As our Head of Product and Infrastructure Security you will join our growing team and be responsible for protecting Kongsberg Digital data and resources against advanced persistent threats from the cyberspace. Focus is to develop, build, maintain and test security systems and monitor their effectiveness.

This position requires a highly motivated team player who enjoys learning and being part of a forward thinking and software technology-oriented culture.

In this role you will get the opportunity to:

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrading security measures for the protection of Kongsberg Digital’s data, system, and infrastructure.

• Ensure Kongsberg Digital data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.

• Serve as a technical resource in advising and assisting departments for issues relating to security.

• Organize security testing for identifying and quantifying security risk.

• Assist Security Operation Center (SOC) team during an incident and report to relevant stakeholders.

• Develop and promote best practices, design patterns, standards through knowledge sharing and as part of the Cyber Security Champion Forum.

• Collaborate with IT and software developers to operationalize the security controls.

Do you already have…

• A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering or related qualification

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience

• Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, Google or AWS)

• Knowledge of container technology (Kubernetes, Docker)

• Practical experience with database security, content filtering, vulnerability scanning and anti-malware.

• Have an in-depth understanding of OWASP testing methodology, dynamic and static application security testing, re-engineering, and automation.

• Foundational cyber security knowledge in at least one area: architecture, attacker methodologies, digital forensics, incident response

• Understands business needs and has a commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Great attention to detail and an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated and possessing of a high sense of urgency and personal integrity.
