Growth Manager
KDI is seeking a driven, experienced, and high-impact Sales & Business Development Manager to accelerate the sales of our products and solutions across the Energy, Chemical, Power, and Industrial markets.
The role will report to VP – Growth, India and will play a key role in driving revenue growth within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute region-specific go-to-market (GTM) strategies aligned with overall growth objectives.
Drive pipeline generation and new business development across O&G and industrial sectors.
Build and manage a robust sales funnel with accurate forecasting and reporting.
Lead strategic account planning and build long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Work closely with customers to co-create solutions, PoCs, and pilot programs to accelerate deal closures.
Lead solution discussions on production optimization, maintenance workflows, integrity, and engineering data.
Use process simulator knowledge to support conversations on model fidelity, optimization, and integration.
Own end-to-end sales cycles including qualification, proposals, commercials, and closing.
Collaborate with pre-sales, product, delivery, and marketing teams.
Drive partner-led growth, including onboarding, enablement, and joint GTM with SI/EPC and technology partners.
Strengthen customer success and retention by ensuring smooth handover and post-sale engagement.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer need to refine sales strategies and offerings.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer forums to build brand visibility. Responsibilities:
Required Experience & Skills (Must-Have):
Strong Oil & Gas (O&G) domain expertise mandatory.
Overall 10+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in enterprise industrial software sales.
Proven experience selling digital twins, engineering platforms, APM, or industrial SaaS solutions.
Hands-on familiarity with process simulators (Aspen HYSYS, AVEVA, UniSim, Petro-SIM, etc.).
Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage CXO and senior technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and value-selling skills.
Nice to have:
Experience in Chemicals, Petrochemicals, or Power industries.
Knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and OT/IT integration patterns.
