Kongsberg Digital is now embarking on its next evolution of product offering, which will require the merging of our key product offerings.

The position of UX Manager will be a vital position responsible for driving the next generation of User Experience and Product Design enhancements to KDI products. In addition, this role will also be focused on Product Analytics, User Engagement, and how user experience is improved through our transformation towards the industrial work surface.

To be successful in the role, the individual must have the following:

• Experience in department leadership, the ability to communicate, educate, and grow a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong ability to manage a department, support individuals, and support talent development.

• Experience leading, mentoring, and growing a global team.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to align with the disciplinary leads, as well as stakeholders outside the department, such as product managers or technology leads.

• Experience in working with product development for SaaS, experience in product design would be a plus.

Your role will include the following tasks:

• Resource management, prioritization, and work assignment.

• Leading and mentoring direct reports, and help individuals improve by providing feedback in collaboration with other leads.

• Aligning and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, such as product management teams, tech leads, or human resources.

• Close collaboration with the disciplinary leads.

• Supporting positive working culture, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have:

• Experience with product design, UX/UI, interaction design.

• Experience across multiple sectors, including traditional sectors such as Energy, Utilities, Maritime, Logistics, or other complex industries.

• Experience in change management.
