Kongsberg Digital is now embarking on its next evolution of product offering, which will require the merging of our key product offerings, and has created a position within the organization – Global Head of UX.

This vital position will be responsible for driving the next generation of User Experience and Product Design enhancements to KDI products. In addition, this role will also be focused on Product Analytics, User Engagement, and how user experience is improved through our transformation towards the industrial work surface.

To be successful in the role, the individual must have the following:

• An in-depth understanding of user-centered design methods, UX research methodologies, product discovery, and demonstrable success in developing and implementing a comprehensive UX strategy.
• Though-leadership on User Experience, the ability to communicate, educate and grow a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Ability to drive alignment across product experiences and toward our future Industrial Work Surface.

• With strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Understanding our company's business goals and aligning UX strategy with these objectives. Be able to visualize and communicate the long-term UX direction for the company.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and growing a global team of UX designers, researchers, and other UX-related roles.
• Experience driving and transforming user experiences in complex industrial software applications into engaging products.

Nice to have:

• Experience across multiple sectors, including traditional sectors such as Energy, Utilities, Maritime, Logistics, or other complex industries.
• Experience facilitating design processes with clients.
