The Role

Kongsberg Digital is searching for a highly experienced Chief Architect to develop overall technology strategy for the IWS and ensure convergence in architecture and capabilities based on the product portfolio strategy.

This individual will be highly communicative and provide thought leadership on architecture & technology in combination with also being an accomplished engineer with experience across the full technology stack.

As a technologist we are looking for someone with a breadth and depth of experience across a range of technologies such as K8s, containers, APIs, 3D, survey data, volumetric visualization, document handling. For this individual to be successful everything should link back to the end-user.

Who You Are

• An experience technical leader with good commercial acumen and ability to communicate across a range of business functions.
• An experienced technologist who has come from a software engineering background and maintains a high degree of coding literacy and the ability to be language agnostic.
• Full stack (application/SPA level) but has a bias for user experience (experience with GUIs) and frontend engineering.
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge and ideally a combination of any of the following technical areas; k8s, containers, APIs, 3D, survey data, volumetric visualization, document handling +++++
