Kongsberg Digital is embarking on its next evolution as an organisation. After the successful launch of the organisation in 2016 and becoming a 1000+ strong organisation with market leading technology helping redefine how leaders in the maritime, oil & gas and utilities industries operate; KDI has restructured its commercial operation into a global function which is responsible for driving new revenue, expanding KDI’s client base and developing strategic commercial relationship across all industries and product sets.

As the Director of Platform Partnerships, you will step into a critical role with the responsibility of building and managing the commercial partnership model with key platform providers globally. Your strategic efforts will significantly enhance KDI's visibility in the market, paving the way for increased access to new customer segments. You will understand the dynamics of partner organizations, coordinate with them during customer-facing events, and ensure our value proposition is effectively communicated. Collaborating closely with our marketing and product teams, you will align promotional material with partner platforms and guide the development of innovative partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and manage partnership agreements while providing insightful performance analysis to senior management.
• Develop strategic partnership plans with key platform providers globally, driving business objectives and expanding KDI’s visibility and access to new customer segments.
• Coordinate with platform partners to represent Kongsberg Digital and its portfolio at customer-facing presentations, conferences, and other events.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, growth, and product) to tailor promotional material, manage lead handoff, and guide the development of innovative partnerships.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic partnerships or business development roles within the B2B SaaS sector, with proven experience managing partnerships with major tech platforms like Microsoft, Tencent, etc.
• Specific experience working with Microsoft and the Microsoft Marketplace.
• Ability to understand and navigate complex partner organizations and coordinate with partners to represent the company at customer-facing events.
• Results-driven approach with a strong problem-solving ability, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a tech startup or fast-paced environment.
• Multilingual abilities for communicating with international partners.
