Technical Sales - Grid

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative with a strong background in power grid software to join our dynamic product team in “Renewables and Utilities”. As Technical Sales, you will play a critical role in supporting our growth team and driving the growth of our grid software solution. You will be supporting RFx work, building and maintaining product collateral, identifying business opportunities, and promoting our products and services to potential customers. This role requires grid domain understanding and overview of the current grid software landscape.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Go-to-market plans to achieve sales targets for grid software solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers.
- Engage with new potential customers in cooperation with growth team to generate sales leads and expand the customer base.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the value and capabilities of our grid software.
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to provide feedback, market insights, and suggestions for product enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape related to grid software.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and establish new business connections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical knowledge of grid software systems, smart grids, distributed energy resources, and related technologies.
- Preferably a proven track record of successful sales, consulting, and business development experience in the grid industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
