As an integral part of our growing global development and delivery team, you will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to build high quality content.

Further, you will:

• Engage in fast-paced agile application development teams in terms of organizing, managing and executing your work with minimal supervision.
• Build high quality product documentation, technical documentation like Framework, SDKs, APIs, user manuals, training materials and others.
• Research, analyze, develop, test and maintain documentation with the development and delivery schedules.
• Contribute to documentation architecture, best practices and evolution.
• Acquire strong competence on the domain and product.
• Play an integral role in learning industry trends, expertise and best practices to keep the team’s collective knowledge up to date.

To be a good fit for this position, you have:

Education

• Masters/Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant education from a reputed university with an excellent academic record.
• Any relevant certifications on technical writing from reputed sources is a plus.

Work Experience

• 6-8 years of relevant industry experience. Experience working in Energy, Oil & Gas or Engineering domain is a definite plus.
• 3+ years of experience working in distributed agile developments. Experience working in international teams is relevant.

Technical Skills

• Understanding and experience in Document Development Lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with DITA, XML, HTML and Markdown authoring.
• Hands-on experience with help Authoring tool (Adobe RoboHelp, MadCap Flare, AsciiDoc, others) and Publishing tools[AS1] .
• Hands-on experience with image and video capturing tools like Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Premier Pro is a plus.
• Proven record in building clear, concise and effective technical content for the field of use.
• Experience using git for version control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English as the primary language.
• Experience with international languages other than the primary i.e. English is a plus.
• Experience with content management systems is a plus.[AS2]
